Wow, what a fun and exciting weekend, Caroline, Carly and Kiki did very well with their routines, looked wonderful, and we heard great things with the judges and coaches. Overall the girls showed great improvement over the past year, there routines held their own, which is great, with the many changes to the Code of Points this year (RG rules), and it was great that many individuals took the time to comment on how well they were doing, and the good direction from our coaching staff. Overall they arrive home today, tired and weary, but full of new ideas, motivation and committment to improve.

One of the highlights of this weekend was the 2009 Western Regional Gold Medals that Cairo and Carly bring home with them, having excelled against teams from Manitoba and Saskatchewan, the Duo performed twice, and their second routine helped them to widen the gap to 2 points from the silver medallists...In 2008 our Junior duo of Caroline, Lexus, and Laurie won the silver, and it really shows that gymnasts and coaches have great creativity and determination in the group category. Way to go Team Victoria
